Intervju – Madelen's favorite novel

Madelen really likes reading fiction-adventures. Her favorite book is en glo is asken. En glo is asken is an adventurenovel written by Sabaa Tahir, and published by Fontini Oslo. It tells the story of a medieval world governed using violence and power. The main character joins the resistance, and infiltrates the higher classes elite schools as a slave. There he meets a mask trainee, who is top of his class, yet has doubt as to whether joining the masks is really the right choice. They both end up becoming important parts of the resistance movement later in life.

You can easily see that the main themes in the book is rising up against the people in power, and authority. This is a theme that Madelen really enjoys and connects with, which is a large part of why she enjoys this book so much.
